Terms of Service

The short version.Plan trips, invite people you trust, and be decent to each other. Your content stays yours. Anything you publish becomes public. A trip’s Organizer can delete it for everyone. Konvoy is free and provided as-is, so please do not rely on it as the only record of anything that matters.
1. Agreement
These terms are between you and Konvoy Travel (“Konvoy”), an independently run trip-planning service. By using Konvoy you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
2. What Konvoy is
Konvoy lets you create a trip, invite others, save places on a shared map, and build an itinerary together. You may optionally publish a trip as a public page.
Konvoy does not book, sell or arrange travel. We are not a travel agent and are not a party to anything you book elsewhere.
3. Your account
- You can use Konvoy as a guest or by signing in with Google.
- A guest account lives in one browser. Clearing your browser data or switching device can lose it permanently — link a Google account to avoid that.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account, and for who you give invite codes to.
- You must be at least 13 to use Konvoy.
4. Acceptable use
Please do not:
- Break the law or infringe anyone’s rights using Konvoy
- Add content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful or deceptive
- Try to reach trips you were not invited to, or interfere with our security rules
- Scrape, overload or disrupt the service
- Impersonate someone else, or misrepresent who you are in a shared trip
5. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you add. You give us the limited permission needed to host, store and display it so the service works — including showing it to the other members of a trip you join, and to the public if you publish a trip.
You are responsible for what you add and for having the right to add it. Do not put anything into a shared trip that you would not want every member of it to read.
6. Sharing and publishing
An invite code is a shared secret. Anyone holding an active code can join the trip and see its contents and its members. Treat it like a key — share it only with people you trust, and regenerate it if it gets out.
Publishing creates a public copy that anyone can open without an account, and a trip marked public may be indexed by search engines. You can withdraw it at any time, but you cannot recall copies other people have already made.
7. Shared trips and deletion
A trip’s Organizer can delete it for everyone. That permanently removes its saved places and member list, takes down any published page, and deactivates the invite code. It cannot be undone, and other members are not asked first.
Any other member can leave a trip at any time. Leaving removes your access; it does not remove what you contributed, which stays with the group’s plan.
8. Availability and no warranty
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of Konvoy, and we do not promise any particular uptime.
Konvoy is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Maps, place data and search results come from third parties and may be incomplete or wrong. Verify anything that matters — opening hours, addresses, bookings — directly with the provider. Konvoy is a planning aid, not a system of record: keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
9. Liability
Konvoy is free to use. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of it — including lost data, missed bookings, or travel costs.
Some places do not allow these limits to be excluded entirely. Where that is the case, this section applies only as far as the law allows, and nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer.
10. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Konvoy at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or creates risk for other people, and where it is reasonable we will say why.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top reflects the current version, and continuing to use Konvoy after a change means you accept it.
